it's one of the most memorable games i have played over the course of 1 hour for the first time, but all because it's so boring, so far. america never existed in these times in the game, so how did these people all end up with american accents? so many little things pissing me off already about this game.Īs i said, i will continue giving it a try, but i am really dissapointed so far. nothing against americans or their accents but it is not fitting to the storyline and plot of the game at all in my opinion. i also don't like the constant generic american accents used with so called "ancient" tribes of elves and dwarves, and humans. I will continue playing the game for up to 10-12 hours, but so far my 1st hour of this game has been very unimpressive. well fine then! why give me all these useless timewasting options to see what you have to say if none of it matters to the actual gameplay? if you keep selecting things to hear what she has to say she then starts to insinuate you are wasting time and should not be late for your quest. you can either select every single option to hear things, or just leave and get on with the quest. the characters are telling me stuff, which i listen to, but then give me all these pointless options to select to get a response, where if you keep selecting all of them to hear what's going on, the outcome is always the same.įor example, you talk to the sister in the beginning. I want to enjoy a good storyline and be engaged with it but the voice dialogue is taking WAY TOO LONG. i've played plenty of action rpgs that make your character transparently visible when being masked by obstacles on screen - that really helps. i guess that's the reason why there's a constant yellow circle around the character, which i don't like.

the top down view is all fine until you end up behind walls or buildings and you then cannot see your character. there's no options for it to reset after you have looked around back to a default view, so i endlessly have to run around with the right mouse button down to control the camera. so boring i felt the need to exit the game and come here to ask what on earth makes this game so popular? i can't see it. in that hour all i have done is watched generic storytelling about random stuff happening inside a dwarven city, and sold some "lyrium" to someone called Olinda.
